SOULjourner,
Today, we contemplate aloneness in the wilderness—a Lenten space where solitude meets sacred encounter.
For many autistic + AuDHD (autistic + ADHD) souls, being alone is not synonymous with loneliness; rather, it is a sanctuary for processing sensory input + recharging from a world that frequently feels overwhelming.
In the wilderness, solitude invites us to listen, let go of expectations, and recognize that we are never truly alone.
In this context, aloneness does not mean isolation; instead, it is a sacred space where one can feel God's constant care, similar to how Yeshua/Jesus experienced it in the wilderness when the Spirit was with Him during both His challenges + victories.
For reflection: How can viewing aloneness in the wilderness enhance your understanding of God’s presence in your unique neurodivergent journey?
A Blessing - Aloneness in The Wilderness
This Lenten season...
May the wilderness remind you that being alone is not abandonment but an invitation to a deeper connection with the One who formed your unique brain and inmost being.
May you trust that rhythmic aloneness is a holy part of your design, woven with intention by the Creator.
